Siyan Work Culture

Why Siyan?

An equal opportunity establishment of North Bay

Working at Siyan is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to shape the future. Siyan Clinical is one of the most prominent outpatient mental health offices north of San Francisco, established in 2012 by Psychiatrist Dr. Anish Shah.  The Siyan organization is the largest outpatient psychiatric service in North Bay, serving Sonoma, Napa, Lake, Mendocino, and Marin Counties. Siyan Clinical values its staff and their care provided to the community as a mental health office. Our values aren’t just words on a page — we learn to live them every day, measure our success, and continuously evolve. We work together as a Team to achieve the organization’s Mission and Vision.

Siyan Core Values

Teamwork and Accountability

Quality and teamwork are inseparable. We hold ourselves and each other to a higher standard—one where our actions are consistent with our values and goals. Our accountability is ultimately to our patients, and it takes all of our collective talents and skills to be successful.

Empathy

We imagine what another person is going through, work to alleviate suffering, and create joy whenever possible.

Respect

Treat everyone in our diverse community, including patients, their families and colleagues with dignity.

Our Team Speaks

Supportive therapeutic environment that cares for its patients. Siyan offers continued opportunities for growth and a true work/home life balance to employees.

Karina Pena – Case Manager

  • Innovative leadership
  • Cutting-edge research into medications and treatment
  • Collaborative, knowledgeable peers
  • Use of technology that facilitates patient care (Zoom, EHR)
  • Excellent benefits – 401-k matching, generous time off policy, good health care, bonuses

Carrie Canine – Psychotherapist

Siyan Clinical has a rich, supportive culture from the leadership down. Most team members are clinicians, administrative or support staff who are educated and passionate about behavioral healthcare. I don’t think I’ve worked with such a productive, supportive team before. The company is forward-thinking and promotes idea sharing and execution. They also really value work-life balance, which is important. There is constant opportunity for growth and company loyalty is recognized and valued.

Tiffany Morgan – Project Manager

Aubree LCSW

Working at Siyan Clinical has proven to be the best company to work for, for many reasons, but most importantly to me, it aligns with my values. The leadership has created a supportive environment that has enabled me to grow and use my strengths in a way that has been empowering. In my dual role as a Project Director and Psychotherapist, I feel entrusted to use my leadership to support program growth and provide compassionate psychotherapy to all clients I meet with. At the heart of Siyan Clinical, they prioritize a humanistic approach to running a business which has given me space for innovation and supportive learning. I’m so grateful to be a part of the mission at Siyan Clinical and hope to continue working here in the years to come.
