Maria Carrillo High School Students from Red Cross Club to Host at Santa Rosa Marathon Siyan Clinical Psychiatric Team to Participate & Educate on Cyberbullying August 26th/27th Event
Santa Rosa, CA – For the fourth year in a row, the devoted team of therapists and management at Siyan Clinical will participate – and this year – operate two booths at the Santa Rosa Marathon to promote mental and physical health and well-being. This year, there will be a focus on cyberbullying.
Having seen the tragic effects of the cyberbullying epidemic in our community daily in their practice, the Siyan team will bring its message of education, treatment, and prevention to race participants and viewers alike.
One of the two hosted booths will be co-manned by the 11th and 12th grade students from Maria Carrillo High School’s Red Cross Club, which is dedicated to offering information and helping spread understanding to combat cyberbullying, a damaging form of harassment.
Siyan Clinical, a mental health clinic headed by CEO and founder Dr. Anish Shah, focuses on multiple important community health issues, including treatments for depression and TMS therapy, community-based projects, research, and clinical trials. There will be approximately 30 participants from the practice attending, supporting the two educational booths, and offering public information. Santa Rosa Marathon Event Details
When: The 15th anniversary Santa Rosa Marathon takes place August 26-27, 2023. Running through stunning Wine Country.
- Saturday, August 26, the 5K and 10K start at 7a.m
- Sunday, August 27, at 6:30 a.m. for the half marathon.
